The Silent Side explores a form of loyalty that exists even under pressure.

In this scene, the seated figure is being confronted. Words are spoken from above — sharp, emotional, possibly unfair. Yet the figure on the ground does not respond.

Not out of fear.
Not out of weakness.

Out of loyalty.

Despite being the one who is scolded, the seated figure is the one holding the umbrella. Still protecting. Still choosing to shield the other from the rain.

This artwork reverses the usual roles of power.
The one standing may speak louder, but the one sitting carries the deeper strength.

True devotion does not always defend itself.
Sometimes, it simply keeps the rain away — even when it is being hurt.
